Trends taught the foundations for being a full-stack web developer. Some units required an additional bit of understanding of other languages like HTML and CSS, but overall the class gave a good starting point to learning web development.

Trends was a great class because of the hands-on webdev practice you get. It helped me see web development as a whole, and also gave me a project that I could use in my portfolio!

I took Trends my freshman fall and it has been one of my favorite experiences at Cornell. I didn't really know anything about web development before taking the class, but the class gave me so much practical knowledge. As a senior, I still utilize the skills I learned in Trends across my current projects and a past internship!
